In a world that often shows little sensitivity, Karen stands as an advocate for victims of sexual assault and adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse. She leads survivors through a paradigm shift—bridging the gap between pain and healing while connecting victims and their families with support systems, including medical, legal, and community resources.

I am commissioned to raise awareness about child sexual abuse and, in the same spirit, promote healing. This mission is rooted in the sobering truth: one in four girls and one in six boys are molested before the age of eighteen. Yet hope remains. Through ongoing education and advisement—including resources like Empowered to Uproot the Seed of Abuse and Overcoming Child Sexual Abuse—survivors can begin to reclaim their lives.
